My cooking style is anything but fancy. As I said I am just a home cook with a passion and a love for creation with food. I grew up watching my dad cook, a great cook of Cajun food and one of my sister’s has become a personal chef. So maybe it is in my blood? Who knows but my secret to cooking is that there are no rules. I cook with what I like and what I have on hand. Usually when I use a recipe I follow it loosely. If I don’t like something I don’t add it. Or the opposite happens and I add half a list of extra ingredients. Either way I cook with a very laid back and approachable style. I find there are always new ways to reuse your staple ingredients and there is always a learning curve when it comes to new dishes or ideas. So here we go, and lets get cooking.
